Grants for Small Businesses during COVID-19
These last couple of weeks have been so difficult for everyone around the world. The world has come to an unusual pause and everything around us has been shut down. Though these measures are what’s best for our society right now, most companies are having to shut down their brick-and-mortar operations, lay off employees, and shut down factories. And of those companies, small businesses are truly facing the brunt of it.
Here at Atlanta International Fashion Week, we want to help you if you are a small business owner so below is a list of some companies and organizations that are helping out the best way that they can.
Amazon: Their Neighborhood Small Business Relief Fund will offer cash grants to small businesses that rely on foot traffic and have less than 50 employees in the Seattle area. Visit smallbusinessrelieffund.com for more information.

CFDA: The Council of Fashion Designers of America is creating a fund to help designers during this time through their organization A Common Thread. Facebook: Facebook has created a $100 million grant to help small business and part of the grant will include ad credits on Facebook for companies to advertise through. Visit www.facebook.com/business/boost/grants for more information.
Google: Google has created an $800 million grant for small and medium-sized businesses.
